2 questions from a newbie

Hi,

I just started playing this game and I have two questions. 1st: How does the map editor work? I can't place anything there, no planets, wormholes aso. Even I can't move them, did not find any buttons to do...

2nd:
I the past I have done a lot of modding work for "ST-Armada" ( anyyone knows the Dark Alliances Mod

) ). As far as I know Se4 is very mod-friendly. So is it possible to add new race to the game, that doesn't mean replace a race with a new one it means a completely new race.
