OT: Lacrosse
Any Lacrosse fans out there?
After what seems like months of Basketball and Hockey playoffs, we now have the NCAA lacrosse tournament to watch. The Terps just whooped all over UMass in a quarterfinal and we get the Orangemen against Princeton next.
Then we get Johns Hopkins vs. Towson and Georgetown vs. Virginia tomorrow. Then the semis and finals are next weekend at Ravens stadium in Baltimore.

Re: OT: Lacrosse
I watch the occassional Toronto Rock game from the NLL. Champions again!
Little known fact: Lacrosse is actually Canada's National Sport - although most think it would be hockey...well it should be anyways...

Re: OT: Lacrosse
If any of you can get the game on the tube, the Orangemen and Princeton are playing one hell of a game right now.

Re: OT: Lacrosse
I used to play lacrosse in high school lo those many years ago heh; also headed five sessions' worth of box lacrosse. Never really caught on with the televised or college teams, though.
I started when it was just hitting high schools here in Virginia; has it become more prevalent/popular/required since?

Re: OT: Lacrosse
Lacrosse never really toook off in Austalia.
I remember playing it in school but after a full on brawl between 2 people, that ended with a stick being hit over the teachers head, they Banned it for some strange reason.
