Setting Strats for Captured Ships
I have not found a way to do this. I know I can put them into a fleet and give the fleet orders, but what if I want to set strats for a specific captured ship type?
Note that the race I captured the ships from has been wiped out, but I don't think I could have set their strats even when the race was still around.
Am I missing something, or is there no way to do this.
Thanks

Re: Setting Strats for Captured Ships
Sorry, you can't... so yes, someone could rip you off by selling you a bunch of dreadnoughts with APB-XII's and Phased Shield V's... with their strategy set to ram

Re: Setting Strats for Captured Ships
As they are now, you cannot give them strategy orders. You must retrofit them to one of your own designs, then of course, the strats for your design take hold.

Sorry, NO. Retrofit does not change strategies. Ship is still tailored to the strategy of the original design. Unless I'm mistaken of course.
