OT: interesting shareware games: out or in development
yep. that's what it's about. post 'em, so i um other people can play 'em.

Well, there is a listing of freeware at gamehippo, and a listing of demos and freeware at megagames, The Underdogs have a shareware section, or you could try the Runesword 2 demo.

you know, i don't know why i never mentioned www.windward.net and there enjoyable enemy nations, now available as a free download.
warning: the ai will not work on some computers, for some reason.

Today I discovered an interesting (and gorgeous) multiplayer space sim called DarkSpace. While it's not a shareware game, they are offering FREE play for the next two weeks. It comes with a server and map editor too.
