Default OT: Explorer.exe c0000005 access violation
has anybody here encountered those in windows 2000 professional when you tried to open the Control Panel?

If you've solved it, please tell me how. It's driving me mad.

Edit: The Control panel crashes after loading the icon for Internet Options.

Further Edits: I've already reinstalled the 4th support pack to no avail. I've also run ad-aware and cleaned all spyware. It hasn't done anything.

More edits: go Here if you'd like to read the dr. watson log on it.

Take a look at your log there. People have replied to it with potential fixes.
