The Kazharii Network Hub, http://galileo.spaceports.com/~kazharii/ , has shut down. All of its content is now available on http://www.spaceempires.net/ . Additionally, SE.net has a new root index page.

PCP asked about this as well. Seems like Spaceports has changed its free policy to something other than free. (In other words you pay to play now.)

This goes hand in hand with how dynamically things are beginning to change on the web. Soon all sites will be pay for use, and all gaming sites will be pay to play. An average person will be shelling out for ISP, and four or five subscriptions.

I recall reading where Hotmail is going to be all pay for use by the end of 2005. So even the freen email services are moving away from free.

Do you mind posting the monthly cost of your SE.net site? I am paying about $9.00 a month for thw service I have.

I actually paid the 20 bucks to get the ads removed. My ad-removal Lasts until April 04 or so. But, that site is now redundant and pointless with spaceempires.net...

If hotmail is going pay-only, screw them.

i am with enhanced hosts and i pay 52 us dollars a year for 600 megs of space and 6 gigs of transfer.
