PBW- Not Another Sweet Game.
Well we are going on turn 100
And all Empires are still going strong.
There are a few wars going on and the game looks like it is going to be in the middle stages for quite a long time.
I am thinking this game will make it another 100 to 200 turns before it is done.

Re: PBW- Not Another Sweet Game.
Correction, not all empires are going strong. The Chaos have finally overwhelmed me and I fear there is little I can do to stave off destruction.

What is the longest game you have played in Tesco? How many months?

Re: PBW- Not Another Sweet Game.
I find it hard to believe the game could go for that much longer. I know I am the weakest in the game but surely by now, or at least in the near future, one empire would be powerful enough to dominate all the others or conquer them. The longest game I'm currently in is up to about turn 150 and my ally and I are debating if we should finish since there is no other force that can fight us.
Edit: mind you with the sweet mod settings pretty much every empire is a powerhouse, including myself until recently, I would say

Re: PBW- Not Another Sweet Game.
longest or biggest... they are different.
Dimension 2x was long and big. 166 turns and lots of planets ( 100 to 200 )
Stranger 1 ( still going so no numbers ) Were over a 100 turns i think around 150 or so... and more than 400 planets... IT IS A BIG GAME. Ask CHAOS aka Georgig. This game will hit 300 turns easy. dec 2002
The AST Game I am in is rather large as well. 4 months now
RTH 1 was very large. But died around turn 166. I had just lost well over 1500 baseships. It hurt but the replacements were coming up quickly.
Rifts 1 has been going on since sept 2002
This game is very big. But I do not see any changes in power yet. You have me in one cornor. Gand in another, Georgig in another and Toddt in the middle.... Toddt and Georgig are huge. I think I have a large empire. I think that this game will come do what does Toddt do when Chaos decides it is time to expand again and I hope it is not me he sets his glaze upon. That empire is just plain scary. But then again I only know my side of the game. I am currently taking the war to the Mmmmmrhmmmm But there is no end in site with his empire... Which is starting to really scare me. But the Nostro ships know their duty. Kill or Die.
I think the 200 ship blood baths will get bigger and bigger...

P&N on PBW, take 2 has been going since March 2002! It technically started in Nov 2001, but the first turn had issues, and the game was restarted for turn 2 in March.

Re: PBW- Not Another Sweet Game.
Dim 2x was a great game. To date it is the game I have enjoyed the most.
