FYI
If any one is interested in knowing, I have up loaded the Star Trek Race files I use in my games to the UFA/TCO ship yards. (link below in my signature)
These are the Races I set up to play in SE IV. I used elements from B5, Star Trek, and Star Wars in setting up these races. I am sorry if that offends any one, but hey, its just a game, and I am not concerned about true to life accuracy when it comes to this game and star trek.
I played both the races, which also have AI files, and they both play well. I hope you will take the time to check them out.

Re: FYI
Done that.
1 minor note: you have to either rename all the files in the ufp2 folder or rename the folder (program gets confused if they are different) .
Being lazy, I just renamed the folder myself, worked like a charm.
hehe, now I have the Klingons, UFP and Borg.
I'll let ya know how they play after work tonight. Looks good so far!

Re: FYI
yup, starting testing tonite or tommorow....though I plan to also start a Trek game too, using some of the race styles setup by others (Borg by jonas, UFP & Klingons by Atrocities).
I did meet the Brachycardia Last nite in a brief game I used to setup one of the empire files. they and the EA were kicking hard. (I used the EA txt files as a start for them; tweaked them a bit to suite the "personality" of the Brachyura-I hope)

Re: FYI
I messed up when I set up the zip. I am sorry, but you may want to download the latest Version of the UFA Fed zip. The folders name within the zip is Fed, and all ships are Fed_Mine_Cruiser etc.
What happened was that I did not convert the newest ships, carrier to BMP, so it does not show up in the game. I corrected this, and apologize for the error.
Any ways, thanks for downloading it, and I hope you have fun with them. The Klingons are kicking my but right now. I am on the run. They took my home world, but have skipped over my large Gas colony world. It gave me time to send out a few colonizers, and build up defenses.
Its very odd to get attacked by 10 Cardassan Galors. The AI, (mephisto's Mod 1.60) really gets em going. Although, I set the Klingons up my self. I set them to Warrier, Aggressive, and all that. I bumped up there aggression to the highest it would go, and let em loose. Man they are eating up the galaxy in a big hurry.

Re: FYI
I should clarify that in my current game, I used the game SET UP to set up the Klingons as an aggressive NEW RACE.
Culture = Warriers
Characteristics = Bumbed up Aggression
Advanced Traits = Temporal, Advanced Power Concervation
As I said, they are impressive.

Re: FYI
hehe, no problemo Atrocities. I did same with both the UFP and Klingons but used your files and general notes to set them up. We shall see tonite how the Borg, Klingons and UFP handle me n my Brachyura .
and I done d'l the feds, used an existing AI txt files, can't remember which. Probably Mephisto's EA, who BTW kicked me hard Last night when I was testing my Brachyura.

Re: FYI
Pathfinder-
How far along are your Brachyura? I assume when you say "testing" that you are creating AI files for them?

Re: FYI
Tampa_gamer: I finally met the Brachyura tonite. I can't say we have fought, took 150 turns to just meeet them LOL. But they sure acted po'd...declared war the second we met
We shall see how the battles go tommorow....
so the anger files seem to be ok but they have only colonized 3 systems so far. I also noticed I need to work on the ship backgrounds a bit...I colorized the XiChung shipset and had some booboo's in the background.
