Poison resistance ?
On which stats are based the poisonous save roll? Not on MR anyway... so is it something like 2D6 + modifier from poison strength versus 2D6 + modifier from a stat (STR?).
And does poison resistance reduce hits taken, or increase the chance of saving?

I think it's the former.

Re: Poison resistance ?
I think poison is just time-release damage. Poison resistance, like any form of damage resistance, simply reduces the damage taken by that percent.

Re: Poison resistance ?
ok guys thanks, I thought like you about poison resistance. My real question was in fact about how the save roll is made, I suppose that only the devs know the answer

Re: Poison resistance ?
There is no poison save check in the way there is a magic resistance check. If you are hit by poison you get poisoned. Partial resistance subtracts that percentage from the poson damage recieved.

but I distinctively recall that not all units in a poison cloud get poisoned... its like units in a fire cloud, not all will be set on fire. Are the 2 mechanisms related, with perhaps a hard coded chance of evading the area attack?

Re: Poison resistance ?
I am playing with C’tis right now and would love to know more about poison. Between the poison slingers and the Foul Vapors spell, it would be good to know how effective poison resistance is. Can anyone confirm that it is damage reduction or is it reducing the chance of getting poisoned?
