Default Spells and the Vampire Queen

Okay a beginner question - I've been playing the Vampire Queen with the Ermor Soulgate theme but I've noticed that my queen always casts an animate dead or something like that which raises one skeleton at a time. How can I control what spells she casts or does the system determine what spell to cast on its own?

Depending on what Level of Research you have and the amount of Fatigue, Range of Opponents as well as Magical Paths, your Vampire Queen will cast spells depending on the priority and situation they are in.

To manually set your Vampire Queen to cast her first 5 Spells is usually the best bet (putting your Buffs into line, or prepping for the "After Script" phase).
