				 Kristoffer O\'s profile
Am I the only one who finds the fact that Kristoffer is a teacher in comparative religion/social studies kind of cool? I realize it's slightly OT, but I'm curious as to what sort of teaching he does and how that ended up informing the development of Dominions (or vice-versa, if applicable.)
Granted, given the fact that they're off to vacation soon, this may not be the best time to bring up this topic. Perhaps I'll bump it next week if I'm too late right now. |

				 Re: Kristoffer O\'s profile
Yeah I sent an email on another subject and the response made it sound like they were headed out the door.
Ive mentioned K's profile a couple of times. The game is made by Johan K and Kristoffer O. Johank K does the programming, and Kristoffer does the designing. The definitions of the nations, the graphics, the text descriptions. Yes I think he found a way to have fun with something he already had extensive background in.
Oh and I often confused Johan O in the early days. He is Kristoffers brother and often replies here. He has alot to do with the game. If you have ever been in the position of communicating with programmers its easy to tell the two Johan's Posts apart at a glance. Programmers and technicians tend to answer things in 1 word. Maybe a sentence if you are lucky.

Both of them are cool, teacher or not. Now if only they could stop teasing me for having no beard (JK help me!)

Hmmm I see a pattern. Everyone in this thread seems to have beards but me. Could it be that the vast majority of dom2 players dont shave?

Have you considered the fact that perhaps we're playing so much that we don't have time?Quote:

I guess we can add that to the list of effects for Dom2 Addiction. Should we just call it a "Robinson Crusoe" appearance or "general failures in personal hygiene"

Maybe the game should have a built-in failsafe. After 50 turns the game should lock up until the next day. Some sort of "crash bug" that just cant seem to get fixed.
