special weapons : resistence ?e.g. lightning swarm
can those special weapons be resisted by lightning resistence ?
a sylph e.g. , the autosummon of a airqueen has as only weapon lightning swarm .
6 an damage , strength of wielder not added .
now my concern :
if i fight a sc with units like this and he has 100% lightning resistence does it block the damage from this special attack too ?
another question :
how does regen exactly work ?
the naturemagic description says that higher nature mages get better regeneration .
if i take e.g. a wyrm and give him some levels in nature magic does it boost his regeneration then or is this just desinformation in the description of nature magic ?

Re: special weapons : resistence ?e.g. lightning swarm
Easy enough to check the regeneration - make an Earth Mother or Wyrm pretender, start a game, look at the regen, exit, make another with higher nature magic, repeat.
As I recall, it does boost the regeneration, but I don't recall by how much. (If you have 20 regen from HPs, an extra 2 or 3 isn't a huge increase. If you have 1 regen, 2 or 3 more is.)

ah thnx
can you answer question 1 too ?
i am very interested in that too because i would like to know how useful sylphs + air elementals are against scs
if the damage can't be resisted that would be perfect .
the only type of unit built in attack i know which is AN !

Re: special weapons : resistence ?e.g. lightning s
for the regen, I've had a nature 9 earth mother with over 200 regen in high domain and with gift of health up, i think she had a ring of regen, and cast personal regen and strength of gaia, so the regen bonus probably scales with hp.

Re: special weapons : resistence ?e.g. lightning s
Regeneration is 10% from HP. Ring of Regen gives extra 10%.
So 320 HP Wyrm with RoR has regen of 64.
For pretenders regen is calculated from Basic HP + Dominion Bonus.
Just made a quick test and Personal Regen seems to give another extra 10% + about 0.3% per Nature level. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not sure but I think lightning res blocks lightning swarm damage.
