Does any one know where I can dowload the latest Version of Java? I think its like 1.4, but not sure.

There was actually a discussion about that in the #spaceempires channel a little while back (two weeks?). I thought it was still at 1.4.2, but apparently they've upgraded a bit since I Last had to use Java for class It's now at 1.5. The link on Sun's site for the Java 5 Virtual Machine (which uses the 1.5 SDK) is here.
