Is the LEGO shipset finished yet?
ISTR that Deathstalker was working on a LEGO shipset... any news on progress?
I ask because I was looking around for 3d drawing tools & came across a couple freeware programs designed for drawing LEGO models. (Not to mention information that there are LEGO objects/libraries for Visio and POV-ray...)

Re: Is the LEGO shipset finished yet?
I was working on one, had quite a few pictures too, but then my hard drive crashed, and had to re-install windows, lost everything . It is on my list of things to do sometime in the near future (in other words, I'd love to , but don't hold your breath.) If you can point me to these freeware lego drawing tools though, I could wrangle something up. Hopefully they are easy to use, pov/moray just hurts my poor head. AI building is soo much easier!!
If anyone else would like to step up and make this set though, you are welcome too (and if your not busy, how about SpaceBalls after that .)

Re: Is the LEGO shipset finished yet?
Deathstalker, you've inspired me to put "Backup my SE4 mods to floppies" on my To Do list. I don't have a lot of things that I need backups for, but I've had to wipe my HD to purge a virus once.

Or, you could also just post them, and download them yourself if they ever get lost.
I've saved myself at least once by resoring a mod from an internet-posted Version.

I don't want to post anything I haven't playtested myself yet; the only exception I've made is my first effort from the Map Editor, which I'm playing an unfinished solo game on. I mainly want to backup up the AI files I've finished for my Tiktsin; there are several files needed for that which I haven't even started working on yet.
My "Donut" map is posted in this thread:

Re: Is the LEGO shipset finished yet?
I also found a plugin for my 3dstudio called "Ego" to draw lego bricks. Only plain bricks but may be a good alternative

It dosen't have to be a public thing; you can just make a private geocities page and upload up to 15Mb (I think 15), or you could use the iDrive thing to store backups. Theres lots of free options.

I dislike the idea of having to go Online to get at my backups. I have space for a Website available as part of my ISP account that I've never used. Besides, all the files I've modded so far for SE IV only half-fill a 1.44M floppy.
