blind spell / need some advice
in my last game (i was playing arcoscephale) i built a huge army of lifeless/mindless beings, mostly statues and siege golems. everything worked well and i even won he game, but there's still something that makes me wonder:
during the last battles the enemy (in this case it was a difficult marignon AI) did cast "blind" on most my siege golems.
here are my questions...
1. why aren't golems immune to blindness ?
2. is there a way to make them immune to blindness ?
3. is there any way to cure their blindness in battle ?

Re: blind spell / need some advice
1. because, technically, they have eyes (you could GiftofReason a golem to make it a commander; it would be able to use the magic eyes in the misc slot)
2. no (other than high magic resistance)
3. in battle - no

Related Question:What about magical eyes and creatures being eyless or having multiple eyes? Will the magical eyes work too? Will two magical eyes make them go blind nonetheless?

Re: blind spell / need some advice
Two magical eyes certainly makes two-eyed critters blind. I think that with more eyes, the unit will lose two eyes but won't go blind.

With enough strength, it seems that two mechanical eyes can fit one eye hole .

Re: blind spell / need some advice
i dont think there is a limit to how many magical eyes you may have but having more of them than you have actual eyes will make you blind

Hilarious! There ought to be a story about a Cyclops who forged himself two magical eyes to see better and who was then rewarded with blindness for his eagerness...maybe he got an ill-formed forging recipe from a malignant witch that cheated him...

That's nothing! Zirru the Grand Thaumaturg can use three eyes at once. He presumably keeps one on the tip of his tail.
