help with 1.17 patch

Hello everyone ! Just got my SE5 game today . Installed game , upgraded DirectX , and started up everything fine . Went to add patch , got message " file crrupted optain new program ". Wiped everything out ,reinstalled, and same thing happened , tried a third time got same results , what am I doing wrong ? Thanks for your help

As I mentioned in the other thread, do you have the Steam version? That patches automatically and the retail patch won't work on it.

no I got the disc today via UPS

If you can try applying the previous two patches first then try the latest one. IF that doesn't work, send Aaron an email.
