Trouble connecting to mp games | resolved
i've had problems connecting to mp games, (read not being able to connect at all). i've tried things like setting the firewall to allow dom3 through and to allow my opponents ip address, turning off the firewall and removing the router and connecting the cable modem straight to the pc and i get nothing. the funny thing is that i don't seem to have any trouble connecting to a blitz server.
anybody have any suggestions?

Re: Trouble connecting to mp games
I dont understand.
You connect to a blitz server but not to an MP game?

Re: Trouble connecting to mp games
As I understand it, there shouldnt be a difference.
Do you mean blitz server like my blitz games on my server?

Re: Trouble connecting to mp games
i have no problems connecting to one of your blitz servers, but trying to host a game, no one can connect to it, or if i am trying to connect to someone else's host, i cannot get connected.

Re: Trouble connecting to mp games
I could be that the port used for that server is used by some other of your programs.

Re: Trouble connecting to mp games
If youy could provide some more details about your machine and the general setup ...
I assume you're using Windows XP ..
Open a CMD window, type "netstat -a -n"
You can copy&paste the output via the windows' menue.
