What you might see as black is actually a point or two from "black". I discovered with the demo that black was the transparency. I used it to make small icons instead of big scenery blocking flags.

If you want black, use RGB (5,5,5) which should not be transparent on anything above 256 color mode.

You know what this is kinda of cool. It actually makes it easier to play because I can see what is behind the flag.
