Heroic Qualities: Random?

So I have a question. Are heroic qualities random?

The funny thing is that they seem to not be. I might be projecting order onto a random process, but I've only seen Heroic Stupidity on a test game where my side had huge losses.

I tend to get only get the qualities for +Attack, +defense, +attack and +defense and ambidextrous penalty removal, +actions(Heroic Quickness), +hit points(Heroic Toughness), enc and +hit points and +Str(Heroic Obesity), +Str(Heroic Strength), +MR, +Precision, and a Standard.

The following seem to be stupidly rare:

Adept Researcher: +research points
The Third Eye: MR and Precision
Legendary Cruelty: Fear and bonus afflictions
Heroic Stupidity: Attack, defense, and MR and less
leadership
Undead Leadership: Exactly what it says.
"Legendary beauty?": Awe, and I think Leadership

Any others I'm missing?

Battle bellow: Fear. Think that's all it gives.

There's also one that gives + natural protection and another one that gives reinvig, but I don't remember the titles. The first might be tough hide, but I'm not sure.

You are missing America's number 1 health problem: Obesity.

"Heroic Endurance" is the one with reinvigoration.

I agree that the ones you listed first show up most often (especially Obesity!)

I think it's a good thing that the cool heroics are rarer. The ones I never seem to get are Adept Researcher and Undead General.

A few of the heroic abilities have unit pre-requisites. I've never gotten adept researcher (or whatever it's called) on a unit with no research ability, but I've gotten it several times.

I haven't gotten it enough times to be sure, however.

I once had Adept research on a non-mage, but that issue may have been patched. I empowered him in Blood and made him research.

Heroic Obesity is up there, Kissblade.

Its even funnier when I get it on a Seducer. I get Deuce Bigalo flashbacks: "Have you ever thrown a toothpick into a volcano?"

You know, the way you guys talk about it, I could have sworn the obesity thing was a joke, but I got my first Unequaled Obesity hero today. Which is funny, because the guy who got it Need Not Eat. You don't have to eat, so quit cramming your face!

Check out the Yomi demons, they are all like that, the greedy buggers starve your mundane troops by scarfing up all the goodies.

I got this on an Agarthan, and even the regular troops don't eat. I shudder to think of what he could be eating. Rocks?
