 Omni.
I've always been partial to the "Born to lose" Tattoos.

Perhaps

"Monkey Point Defense... Born to lose"

or

the Earth Mother with "Born to lose... 40 pounds"

I don't really understand the attraction of tattoos. Is it about impulsiveness made permanent, or is it more about publicity for something that you really like (like "X For President" signs?)?

				 Re: Dominions tatoos
I'm sure everybody's got their own reasons and how much thought they put into it, but once you got it, it's like your body looks different, but that's the way it looks now, see what I'm saying? There's some tattoos you could regret, but I think for most people after a while it's just what it is.
I wouldn't get a Dominions tattoo though. I mean, I like the game, but ah, nah.

				 Re: Dominions tatoos
To me Max, they can be okay if they are, and represent, something personal about you (something you can tell a story about), or something about your culture, if you feel a deep connection to it.
I understand the Japaneses making all those enormous tatoos body-wide with their samourai and daemons.
I understand the soldier tatooing on his arm the faces of his wife and his daughter.
I understand the motorcyclist with a heart and "mommy" written inside
I even understand that guy of the Guinness with the 99% of his skin tatooed as a jaguar skin, because he lives deep in the nature...
I don't understand the gym-fanatic who never went out of his little town tatooing the japanese ideograms of his name (or more probably "dumb face", he will never find out ) or the all-present brambles :\

For a moment, I thought this was titled "Dominions taboos ".....

I was going to post about the time with those lesbian Nagarishi massage therapists I met in Singapore, but I'll skip it for now..... |

				 Re: Dominions tatoos
I once did a large tattoo of VTM Sabbat ankh. From then on I had to explain what does it mean at least a thousand times. Now, no more gaming-related tattoos for me |
