Man I'm gone a few weeks and the forums fill up. So what's been going on, what did I miss? What sort of new stuff does SEIVG have in the demo?

Well, you've got your:
- drones
- new system types
- AI improvements
- other stuff

(Not sure what else from the beta is in the demo)

We've also got some new projects started.
- SE4 image mod
- Role Playing Mod
- Space monsters mod

Plus some interesting discussions:

It's been reported in another thread that the new system types in Gold are not in the demo.

Also of note:

Neo-ship set is making progress towards filling the gaps for generic shipset & SJ is making a prog to help players of SE IV (nongold) workable with the extended shipsets.

Sci-Fi Crossover mod is making progress in the Star Wars and B5 areas. Andres is looking for help in the Star Trek side of things.
