Call for subs for the Mysterios Team in NaV

The Mysterios team in the game Noobs and Vets is in need of one or two stalwart subs.

Lanka, is the largest of the nations of available and has a powerful blood economy. This vacancy is temp with the possibility of permanent assignment. The position was previously held by our Captain who will be busy elsewhere for at least a few weeks. This leadership position is suitable for a veteran, hall of famer, or an intrepid intermediate level player. If leadership is your calling and courage runs in your veins, this is the right position for you.

Yomi, has the smallest number of holdings of the available nations but has great potential in the hands of those who are interested, especially those with experience playing them. Suitable for an intermediate or a noob level player who wants to gain some experience with the nation.

The team is roughly in third place in the score graphs and has the opportunity to have a major impact.

My philosophy as admin and player is to relax, play, learn, and just have a good time, avoiding a fixation or obsession on winning at any cost, and enjoying the extra camaraderie and interaction that teams games can offer.

I'm possibly interested in the lanka position. I would be filed squarely under the intrepid intermediate category, however, so if there is a more skilled player who wants it that's fine.

I could handle a few weeks of it, but I don't want to sign up as permanent sub before getting a better sense of the game dynamic by playing.

What do I have to do to be able to start a game with the map file so I can take a look at it? I get error about nation placement.

If you've downloaded the image file archive you should also find a copy of the original .map file for the random map. You should be able to start a game in SP using Lanka with no problems. What is the exact nature of the error you are getting?

The position is currently temporary from what I know so far, but I cannot tell you at this point whether it may become permanent. You may choose to play temporarily if you wish to get a feel for the team and the nation first before committing long term. PM me with your e-mail if you have any more issues or are interested in taking over for Lanka.

Well I just started in two other games. If this is sure to be only a 3 weekish sub, and you can't find anyone else, I can probably do it, because those games won't have ramped up yet.
