Adding jet aircraft as air OP units.
How can i add jet aircraft to be used as Air OP units without that propeller sound when they enter the map and go down, its annoying.

You cannot do this, as all such things are propeller driven. Cessna type spotter planes in the early post war period, and UAVs later on.
In any case, the size of the circle is determined by the unit's speed, and a jet recce plane would go off-map rather quickly due to the huge track it would try to fly around the reference point.

Re: Adding jet aircraft as air OP units.
Because Yugoslavia remodeled some of its J-1 "Jastrebs" to tactical reconnaissance aircraft (designation RJ-1) with cameras in tip tanks and a recon pod. Its mission was to make a single flyby at lower speed to photograph enemy positions and return back to base. It had infrared cameras and all that stuff for night missions also.

Re: Adding jet aircraft as air OP units.
ah... is it possible to add recon planes?
If not, how i would try to do this is to add them as strike planes, remove their weapons, but somehow increase their visibility, if this would work.

You require weapons to make a strike pass....
Reconnaissance would be a pre-game process. Air photos need several hours after the return of the plane to be interpreted and the results sent to Intel, and then to filter down to the units at the pointy end. It is not covered in the game mechanics, whether by air assets or patrol activity though.

Re: Adding jet aircraft as air OP units.
How about purchasing a cheap jet aircraft and turning the weapons off?

I've tried that in the game. Sometimes it works OK. Meaning, they spot some units and don't get shot down all the time. And if you keep them back near your lines to minimize flak, they don't usually spot much. I don't recall if a SEAD strike will fly over enemy territory; I recall they enter map edge, shoot any weapons, and then depart, but I haven't used them in a while, so I forget. If they will do fly-overs, that might be an alternative method.

That's a stand-off attack - you can get that from normal strike planes, too, if they carry PGMs.
If the plane has neither ARMs nor PGMs, or doesn't find a valid target, it does a flyover.
Note that deactivating the weapon is not enough - that'll result in a "standoff attack" without actually firing. May reveal an enemy unit, though (the target).
Also note that there's a lot of weirdness that can happen with air attacks - I once had an F-117 do a strafing run, using its PGMs as if they were guns (except, of course, for the "standoff attack" message...)

Another thing you can do is change the sound. I believe it's sound 203.wav
