modding: useless abilities
I want the AI in a mod to be able to use specific components that share the same abilities with other components. For example: shield generators, mini-shield generators and harmonic shielding; or different types of armor.
In order to do this I want to add useless abilities to the components, so that the AI design creation can call for that useless ability to add the specific component.
Can somebody help me which abilities are useless on components and don't interfere with other parts of the game?
The only one I know is "star - unstable", other guesses are "ancient ruins" and "palace".
Here is a list of abilities that I *think* might not work on components. If somebody can confirm that, tell me they actually do work, or add something to the list, I would appreciate it. They more abilities I can work with, the better.

planet - change ground defense
planet - shield generation
drop troops
resource gen modifier planet - minerals
resource gen modifier planet - radioactives
resource gen modifier planet - organics
planet point generation modifier - research
planet point generation modifier - intelligence
resource conVersion
system - destructive center
ancient ruins
ancient ruins unique
planet - change atmosphere (hmm, that wouldn't be too bad, if it actually worked; could make a terraform ship)
