Another new race for your pleasure!
I have finished creating the Ekhazan Empire
Comments are welcome as this is my first totally original race style.

Re: Another new race for your pleasure!
The race is nice.
My major complaint would be the similarity between some of the ships. Nothing else
EDIT:
Two things:
*nice racial portrait
*Dont worry on that 'comment' above, i say that to most of the people

Taera - It's funny, with the Corrian I received complaint about differences in ship design.

Re: Another new race for your pleasure!
Why, the Corrian have just enough variety to keep the same style, and its a nice racestyle too

Nice job Gandalph! I like the Transports.
Edit: "ph", not "f".

That's one of the interesting things about this hobby, no one seems to agree on what looks good, so you mostly have to go on what you like yourself. More than once, I've had people make diametrically opposed suggestions for a ship set, so I've just tried to evaluate their comments and do what looks best to me.
Now to this set, it looks very good! I'll make a couple of suggestions that I think might improve it, but as per above, it's really up to you.
First, on the troops and weapon platforms, I like to see some ground around them. It makes them look less like a ship in space.
Second, the blue nose on the drone does not have the light reflection that the other ships have, so it looks very flat.
Third, you might try for a little more differentiation between the battle station and the starbase.
Fourth, there seems to be some roughness around some of the edges of the space station and battle station, and the carrier series.
Other than that, it looks great! I really like the race portrait and the general theme of the ships.
I hope I'm not coming across as overly critical on the points listed above. I've had a couple of people give me pointers on my races and it helped me to pick up on the details that can really enhance a ship set. I still need that on my sets, and I want to pass on that sort of help. I'm very impressed with your race ideas and want to see them reach their full potential.

Re: Another new race for your pleasure!
AK - Thank you for the comments and critique. I will not be changing anything in this ship design as I made the mistake of believeing I could reopen the saved bitmaps in Doga and this is not true. I am not too good at manipulating images (which is why Doga works out for me, very easy to use) in a program like Photoshop or PSP, so we are stuck with the set as is. Still in all, for my first, I think it is pretty nice. I shall take your comments into consideration on my next shipset though.
