Help out Universal Shipyards
Hey everyone -
Almost all of the huge collection of races that used to be available at Universal Shipyards needs AI's updated, fixed, or only has partial AI's if any. I've offered to help out already, but there are a lot of races to go through, and its going to take some time to get to them all.
Are any of you willing to help out in this? (especially all of you involved in the TDM-Modpack)
This is a one time update for all of the races to correct errors, make them compatable with the latest Version, and to provide all of the races with a complete set of AI files, and contacting the races author for permission if possible.
(I don't think it would be a problem if anyone wanted to provide continueing support in maintaining the AI for a race, or if you wanted to improve an AI to make it a bit tougher)
If anyone is interested, please speak up and indicate how many races you are willing to help out with. I have a list of the races that had been on Universal Shipyards and am willing to organize which AI's are being updated by whom to prevent wasted effort from multiple people working on the same AI.

Good idea!
I think this would be a good time to perform such a task as SE:IV is winding down and I expect few data file changes after the next patch. There are a lot of nice ship sets out there that just need some love.

hm, i must point out. Universal Shipyards is home to some of the more exotic races, and as a personal request, try variety of ship designs, tactics and research. I still dont think that PPB rush etc is fun when you play ~8 AIs with same tactics.

I would be willing to take on one AI at a time and complete up to 6 total. I am still working on my BOD Mod AI's and other projects, so I can't get in too deep. Please use email to contact me and not PM's as I rarely read them (as some of the members here will attest to).
