max races

Is there a maxium for the amount of races you can install into the game?

I have started downloading all the custom races you have all built and am wonder if the game will only accept a set amount.

You can have as many custom races as you want, but there is a limit of 20 per game.

The maximum number of races you can install is the number you have when you run out of harddrive space

You sure? I could have a lot of races here, and I am sure SE4 will get confused at some point if I add more indefinitely (esp. if I just have the folder, so it uses generic pics, to get tons more races in the same HD space).

SE3 choked at 255 (IIRC, maybe it was more like 100, I forget). There just aren't that many se4 ship sets, so their hasn't really been much of an issue with it so far.

I currently have >100 races installed, and they give me no problems.
