Default new game preferences?

Just curious how people start up a new single player game, quick start or set it up yourself?

I haven't use quick game since shortly after I bought SEIV over a year ago. You get so much more control and options by going the full route.

I am still playing my first and it was a quick start. It is great fun but I was curious what the more experienced group does.

Thanks for the reply.

The majority of the "more experienced group" play PBW where the game setup is predetermined by the game creator.

I always set it up myself...so many more options. Quick Starting is good if you're new to the game, but after that, nope. Options are good.

But, isnt't PBW a slow process where you take a turn once a day?

Thanks

Yes it is, but nothing beats the intensity of playing against adaptable humans instead of predictable AI's. Don't get me wrong, I played many solo games when I started, and still do on occasion, but the real challenge and excitement of this game, IMHO, comes from playing on PBW.

It sounds fun, I am trying to join a game now and I am waiting for it to be started.
