where is patch 1.49?
So I've been looking and looking for the pre-gold patch, v.1.49. Yah, I know, what the heck am I doing without gold when everyone else on my block already has it
I'm just waiting for the Canadian dollar to rally, honest!
In the meantime, does anyone have a copy of the patch lying around? Thanks a bunch.

Re: where is patch 1.49?
The link is missing on our download section for some reason, I'll fix that.

You can also get those from PBW if they are unavailable here for any reason.

Re: where is patch 1.49?
Thanks Richard, thanks Geo.
I found the patch to 1.49 easily enough with your directing. Unfortunately I needed to reinstal from scratch (ie the original CD) and then the patch for 1.49 complained that it can only work from SE:IV that already has patch 1.02 or greater!
Now I have looked about, and have been unable to find patch 1.02, can you help me again? Thanks a bunch for all your help.

Re: where is patch 1.49?
I *think* 1.02 is the original CD Version, no?

Re: where is patch 1.49?
The original History.txt starts at Version 1.03, so, yes, the CD install ought to be 1.02. I don't have enough HD space free to do a test install to doublecheck this, though.
