Default New to ATF/BCT.

Hey Patrick-
I'm a retired Active Duty, current Guard intel officer (w/ tours in Somalia and Afghanistan). I'm very interested in Air Assault Task Force (my father flew a Huey into X-Ray so that scenario is of particular interest). Anyway, to learn the game system, I want to purchase one of the currently available games and was curious which one would be the best learning environment: ATF, BCT or one of the other titles?
Thanks much!

Sorry for the delay in responding to this. But I will be happy to take a crack at it.

I would definitely recommend one of the ATF Engine games (ATF or its successors). Many of the innovations present in AATF are direct successors to the last version of the ATF Engine, The Star and the Crescent. I would either recommend that title, or if you are looking to get "spun-up" on infantry tactics, The Falklands War: 1982.

Thanks for the question and, again, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
