Default MicroSlop Rant (just a small one)

Sorry, just in the mood.

In all their incredible genious, MicroShaft (Outlook) will send you a read receipt for a message that you have sent to yourself, confirming, for your curiosity, that you just read the message.

Now, you may be asking, "Why would you send a message to yourself?" Well, one way is to address a message to a distribution list upon which your name appears. And, Micro$ollars will not have enough sense to remove your name from the recipients.

(OK, I'm done) (sorry)

Hey, I do it all the time. If I'm surfing at a terminal away from home (like I am now) and I find a link I want to keep, I will send it to myself via Juno WebMail, and read it at home. It saves paper and time.

It's a non issue. The code does not care where the message goes, only that it is flagged for a RR.

If you want to rant on MicoXoft, then take a look at the apps that won't run on Server2003. Add that to the fact that 2K+3 has a new non compatable Version of AD, and we have some job potential in IT again

Now, Thermo, I'm REALLY going to bust a gut here. Know why? 'Cause you and my LAN manager are locked in battle in KOTH and BOTH struggling with BS server OS's from M$. Of course, we are in the government and, therefore, march about 2 years behind everyone else (we're working on AD and Server 2K).
