Isolated 1.35 Bug I was experiencing
Got a new download of the patch and did an uninstall and reinstall and then loaded the patch. Same error, but I did islolate the bug I am seeing. At the start I scrapped 6 facilities to build different ones - I didn't do it one at a time just to make the game harder. No error when I just had less then the max. But when I tried to build a different facility that what I had at startup then I had the error with the save game. The game let me build a different facility and even save it with no problems. The error only occurred if I tried to reload the saved game. Has anyone else scrapped a facility on the homeworld to build a different type? or maybe it only occurs becasue I did it on the first turn. I will do more testing, but maybe it is not as bad as I feared and can work around the bug until MM fixes it.

Re: Isolated 1.35 Bug I was experiencing
Same here as Trachmyr, I usually end up at some time scrapping Homeworld facilities but haven't done it on first turn.

Re: Isolated 1.35 Bug I was experiencing
Well I thought I had it isolated. I started a new game, saved it as Start, then just scraped one facility and saved it as Turn 1. I scrapped a mineral extract to build a mineral resource storage. Then I played the game and saved it as Turn 2. I then reload Turn 1 game with NO problems. I then started playing the game from the Turn 1 reload. I played about 5 turns and then stopped to eat and do some other things this morning. I came back to the game, found I had done something stupid like forgot to choose more tech so I decided to start over. I Tried to reload Turn 1 game and got the same error. So I tried to reload the Turn 2 game and got the same error, but I can reload Start with no problems. Did MM add some anti PBEM cheat code that stops you from reloading a previously saved game, after a certain amount of time and/or turns have past. The only difference is in the amount of actual time and the amount of turns. Maybe I can save the current game and go back or maybe I can go back to previous game if only a couple of turns or a few minutes have passed, but can no longer go back to a saved game in the middle? Usally I save the game every 10 and 20 turns as two autosaves, so if I do something stupid or don't like the outcome, I just go back to one of those two saved games and try again. I don't save it every 10 turns but just as a running 10 and 20 turn backup.
I hope MM can fix this because except for the map editor 1.35 has not been fun and I am seriously considering going back to 1.30 to play the game until 1.35 is fixed.
Maybe MM could also let me pick (with a text file) what facilities I get at start up, and no the homeworld choice as part of AI_design_facilities dosen't work.

Re: Isolated 1.35 Bug I was experiencing
Well I lied. I don't have it isolated. I tested for the first 10 game turns with no problems and then I play the game. I quit for the night at turn around 45. Just for a test I tried to reload, and I get the same error.
