basic race creation

In an effort to come up with a bit of variety, I've decided to simply copy the entire shipset of existing races into new race folders with only the portraits/flag image files altered.

My question is, when doing this, is it really necessary to rename each individual race file(such as "Terran_AI_Settings" to "RaceX_AI_Settings") in order for it to properly function, or is there an easier method?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes it is necessary. However I use A.F.5 Rename Files to do so. Add the files you want to change, Rename -> Replace and it's all pretty easy from there, Saves a lot of time

You can also acquire the shipset megapack via Bit Torrent from my tracker, which has over 250 shipsets in it. Never play the same race twice.

Okay so the sites working now but how do I use a file in *.torrent format???
