Mine clearing oddity
I just played a scenario where several T-55 Dozers hit a 3 hex wide minefield and were immobilized.
They continued to clear their hex of mines as well as the hex in front of them.
is their mine clearing function linked to their mobility or is it just a unit trait?

Re: Mine clearing oddity
They will still clear obstacles if they are immobilised by entering the minefield - it's a trait of the unit class. Just like pinned engineers may clear them also. Pinned engineers will clear at reduced rate - but higher experienced ones may shift a few.
Not really sure if that is a "bug" or a "feature" - it has been that way since the original SSI games.

Good to know. I guess they are really determined to complete their task.
