captured ship stratedgys (sp?)
Just wondering what strategies captured ships use? What about gifted ships? Could someone gift you a warship with orders set to "don't get hurt" and it would then be useless unless fleeted?

Until you retrofit the ship, IIRC, it will use the strategy assigned to it when built. Your opponent can also change the strategy for that ship class after you take control of the ship, if you don't retrofit, I believe. I could be wrong.

You can put the alien ships in a fleet with "ships break formation" set to false, and then it will obey the fleet strategy.
