Diplomatic victory
After 3 days of intensive playing i found nice way to diplomatic victory... Just propose trade and give a lot of techologys, starmaps resources, contacs and ask for all planets and maybe all ships - no one refused me... Its end of single player for me

Re: Diplomatic victory
Yep the AI is really easy to fool with trades... that's well established.
I actually toyed with the idea of playing SP again. It's been so long, I've forgotten what it is like.

Re: Diplomatic victory
Now now lol the AI is pretty easy - one of the big features of SE5 should be the ability to script write youre own AI - lets hope there are lots of features for the AI to utilise.

Well, stock AI's at least. Of course, if you're going to lie and offer them all three colonization techs 50x each, they probably won't be able to resist, but what fun is that? That's like telling your little brother, "I'll give you this brand new shiny penny for that ugly old quarter." But many AI's, notably TDM ones, have pretty stiff requirements for accepting trades (30-to-1 in their favor or even more). Plenty are also programmed not to surrender, instead of that low 10x score differential in stock AIs. All in all, the AI can avoid some stupid decisions if you avoid taking advantage of their natural stupidity.
