Noob question about magical sites
I just picked the game up the other day and I have a noob question. I found a magical death site called "The Crypt Undeneath" that gives me 3 death gems and 20 conjuration bonus. Does anyone know what conjuration bonus is? I haven't been able to find anything out about in the manual. I have tried building a lab there and summoning up mobs, but I havent seen any difference. I am using death skill 2 necromancers to summon up wights, banes, and shades. I have done about 3 of each summon and I am not seeing any difference. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Noob question about magical sites
Yeah, looks like even the sitesearching command has been left out of the manual ... .
You should be paying 4 gems for shades and wights and either 6 or 7 for a Bane, instead of the full listed price.

Re: Noob question about magical sites
Sites which offer a bonus to a particular school of magic (conjuration in your case) give you a percent reduction in the gem cost for any rituals cast from that province. So you should be paying only 80% for any conjuration rituals you are doing there. Its not very noticable with the low level summons, as you have noted, but it is quite nice with the more expensive spells.

Re: Noob question about magical sites
Unless I'm wrong, sites with Construction bonuses give their bonus for rituals AND forging, right? (both in the form of gem/slave cost reduction)

Re: Noob question about magical sites
.. they give a bonus for everything that is in the construction tree - spells and forging alike, yes!

Re: Noob question about magical sites
Anyone find any holy magic sites? I didn't even know holy sites existed until I accidentally searched with a priest. I have yet to find holy magic sites, so I was wondering.
Also, if there are any, are they even worth searching for?

Re: Noob question about magical sites
Ahh. Looks like I will be doing a ton of summoning from that spot from now on. Thanks.
