B5-Mod Gold Discussion.

Hi, folks,

It took me much time to install B5-Mod Gold
(found it DATA Mod section) sucessfully
on my Se-IV gold v1.67.

I must say it's very cool, and give a whole new
world to Se-IV. Colony is harder to occupy (i.e.
hard to rush & land troops). Managing a new
colony is much slower..i think it's more realistic , nice touch.

However, after testing each race, I am very confused for one thing: IS Shadow Alliance(SA)
too strong @ early stage??
I found out only SA's engine can push a Colony
Ship to 6 mv. Other races' engine can push only
2 mv !? It's quite absurd!

Or maybe what I use is un-official Version of
B5-mod ?

Anyway, I'd like to see all kinds of comments on
B5-Mod-gold, thanks for your comments.

You can mod the race before you start the game.

Shadows are somewhat special in the mod : they have more advanced "Ancient" tech but are pretty bad at reproduction/expansion. There are some Posts about this in the B5 mod thread, get there and have a look

I thought there is NO Gold-Version of the B5Mod for now - or I'm wrong?

I did one conVersion some weeks ago - just made the B5 mod works with Gold, didn't add new Gold features (drones) - too difficult !
Look in the B5 thread or in the Mod forum to get the links.
