Default What about andvanced tech on an empty planet?

I found two empty, rock planets in different systems, whose sensor description said advanced technology had been detected on them. Since there was no colony on them, I tried to bring scouts there, even put a colony on top of it, but I could not find how to investigate those further.
It was not one of the fancy decorative descriptions we find on other plantes, it had a blue dot listing there was something special about them, and also a kind of "Stonehenge" icon besides the planet's name, kinda ruin-type icon...
As I understand, some planets are supposed to have special bonuses on it, like the small huts in CIV2... That might be it, if I could just find a can openner...

To get the advanced tech, you need to found a colony on the planet or moon with the "stonehenge" symbol. Were the planets the right kind for your colony ships (i.e. not ice planets for rock colony ships, etc.)?

If the colony did get founded but you didn't get any tech, then you're probably using the new demo (Version 0.56 instead of 0.51). In the old demo, you pretty much always got something, but in the new demo sometimes you don't. I'm not exactly sure why, but I suspect that the planets are now "seeded" at the start of the game with specific techs, and that if you already have the tech the planet is supposed to give you, nothing happens.

That might explain how to get the techs, but I am using the 0,51 Version anyway...
Also, I don't have that much tech already, mainly Physics, Ship construction, a few basics as such...

Thanks anyway for the advice...
