OK, I\'ve got it, but it doesn\'t run!!!!
I run it, get the "Loading" message, and then black screen and lockup. Sometimes I can ctrl-alt-delete and end task, but that sets my resolution to low. When I try to reset it from screen properties, complete crash to black.
Strangely, the network Version loads fine, and I had no problems with the demo.
Help!!!! I desparately want to play this!

Re: OK, I\'ve got it, but it doesn\'t run!!!!
That is very strange if the network Version loads fine, since there isn't any difference in the loading of the two Versions.
Question: When the game appears to lock up with a black screen, do you hear any sounds or music? If you press a key on the keyboard a few times, will it get to the menu? I'm just wondering if the intro movies are playing as a pure black - there are 3 intro movies, and the first one is silent. Pressing a key once for each movie will skip them.
What is your system configuration? If you have Windows XP, did you install it using the Administrator login?
In the meantime, if you want to play against the AI or others over a network, you can still play the network Version.

No, no sounds or music. Keyboard has no effect. When I get the task list, it is always shown as not responding. Can't even alt-tab back to desktop. I even left it alone for about 15 minutes, but still nothing.
System is Win98, 2nd ed. P2, 400MHz, 192MB ram.
I tried playing vs AI on network Version, but was not allowed to start game. Also, I could not change race or skill level of opponents.

On the network Version, you can't change the AI stuff. Also before you can start the game, everybody (even the host) must click the ready box.
What kind of video card do you have?

No problem. If you have any other details about the problem, or get it working under any other conditions, please keep us updated. If there is something I can do to fix it, I will do it immediately.
