Attacking from multiple provinces into one provinc
If I attack a single province from multiple bordering provinces is each attach seperate or is it combined into one?
Also if I break siege and attack my province that is being sieged from a neighboring province do both attacks occur seperately or is it a combined attack?
Thanks
Chris

Re: Attacking from multiple provinces into one pro
It's all a single battle, and you can even check the whole army setup with the "y" key (click on the target province, then hit "y").
Also, if you're besieged and send a relief army in the same turn that you attempt to break the siege, both result in one big battle.

Re: Attacking from multiple provinces into one pro
Most of the time, yes. There is one very important case that you must keep in mind tho. In dominions, if you try to move into an enemy province at the same time that an enemy force tries to move into your friendly province, then the computer will randomly pick which province to have the battle in! This could result in one of your forces fighting the enemy on friendly soil, while the other one of your forces continues on to the enemy province unopposed.
As you can imagine this is a very dangerous scenario if either of your forces, alone, is not capable of defeating the enemy force.

Re: Attacking from multiple provinces into one pro
It's actually a very good trick to keep a scout or two in your provinces simply to defend a multi prog attack by sending out your scouts on "retreat" order. It can screw up a joint attack and turn a loss to a complete devastating win in your favour. Though it is a slight bit cheap ...
"Sir, sorry we're late. We got caught up by this random scout ..."

Nice trick, Kissblade. I've always used small raiding groups to do the same thing. Usually they just get slaughtered but they force half the enemy to sit out the main battle. Didnt know it would work with just a scout, but now that I think of it, I dont see why it wouldn't. Tricky!

You can also use some spells such as Call of the Wild or Call of the Wind? I forget the timing on spell attacks vs walk-ins.
