Default Maps Expanding

I seem to have developed a bug. I have WinSPMBT and WinSpww2. When I make a map in Winspww2 and transfer it to Winspmbt somewhere in the transfer the map gets screwy and no matter what it's origina width and height it expands out to the max 200 x
160. The expanded area is always 0 height and level terrain. The map expands out to the right and to the bottom. Is there any way around this? I've reloaded the games but it keeps happening.

Thanks in advance.

No bug its you
MBT probably has map prefs set to 200x160.

Load the map in the editor
Look at it
Come back out & change prefs to desired height & width.
Look at it again its now the size you set so save it

I think I did this but it didn't keep the expansion from happening. I set the editor to the size in winspmbt, copied the map from winspww2, and hen transferred it. When I opened them in winspmbt they were big again, with flat, naked terrain to the left and bottom. Is this the process you meant?

No that is not what I said at all
Do what I said in the MBT editor for each map, load, look at, resize, save.
As DRG said somewhere you loaded or changed something & saved them at that size, probably another bigger map thats why they are all level zero clear terrain the default.

DRG will become famous soon enough
Default Re: Maps Expanding

The only way I can make this happen is if I load a custom map....any custom map from either WinSPMBT or WinSPWW2 in the editor then after it loads change the map size to a larger size. The same thing happens if you select a random map then change the map size to something larger.

You can also accomplish this by simply opening up preferences after loading the custom map perhaps to change something totally unrelated but when you do you reset the map size if the preference size differs from the custom map size and I'm betting that's what has happened here
