Old version of Spww2 (not win version)
Hi
i was looking through my disks and found a program Russo -
German Edition by Oleg Bazhenov and Klaus MB.
This add on includes a lot of stuff which are not included
in past or present Spww2 programs such as German E series tanks and Russo SMK and T100 super heavy tanks.
the recommended prog for this add on is Spww2v2.2.
i have Spww2v3 but it doesn't seem to work with the add on.
Does anyone have a copy of Spww2v2.2? and are they willing to download it to me?
yours aye

The DOS version is no longer supported. The file formats have moved on several times since those days.
This OOB mod was also from a third-party, so again not supported.

Re: Old version of Spww2 (not win version)
Hi Mobhack
i appreciate the fact that the game has moved on.
i still have the disk with v3 on it - this the same disk
which you kindly sent to me some time ago, after we met in Stockbridge.
i still would like v2.2, if anyone has still got it and are willing to download/post it to me.
yours aye

Yep - remember that, many moons ago.
Unfortunately, I don't have the DOS installations any more myself. Possibly hidden on a CD in boxes somewhere, but not on any PC I have running ATM.
Cheers

Unless you have an old computer laying around, if you do get it, you will soon find what a pain it is. If it installs at all, you get 640 x 480, and have to run cpu slowdown and mouse control programs.

Re: Old version of Spww2 (not win version)
SQMS: I have the three files. Original SPWW2 exec was 29,705Kb, the SPWW2v22upgrade was 5,745Kb and the SPWW2V2.2b final patch was 932Kb. I had to work real hard but I think I got it to work on my XP machine. But that was later after we had moved on. There were some very interesting scenarios as I look through my archive. I never had the add-on you are talking about. I do however have every file associated with each release readily available. I will burn you a CD of everything and mail it to you if you want. Paladin
