Re: CD Key Violation
Buy the game?
Seriously though, try uninstalling and then reinstalling with the cd key you got with your legal copy of the game. If that doesn't work, I think you need to contact Shrapnel Support.

Re: CD Key Violation
You may have more than one person in the same game playing with the same CD key, e.g. if some other member of your family is playing in the same game as you. Unfortunately you can't do that - you need one CD key per player.

Re: CD Key Violation
Did this happen during a MP game?
If so did you give your CD-key to another player in that game? or did you submit turns for two or more nations in that game?
If you have a valid and secure CD-key, then as Sombre says, Shrapnel Customer Support is the path to follow if you are still having problems.
Edit: I see llama got some ninja training up in Scotland then.

Re: CD Key Violation
That's not so great! I wanted to give a friend of me an introduction into Dominions 3 in two weeks in a LAN session. However, this won't work if two installations don't work with the same key in LAN.
So it's back to Civ4 FFH2 I guess...

Re: CD Key Violation
You could do it with two copies of the demo version.

Yes, provided there's no movement restriction, that might work.

Dominions is a game well suited for hotseat play as well.

Re: CD Key Violation
Eh, I don't know. I've tried that. The problem with playing dominions hotseat, is once you start having 30+ minute turns it can really drag down the pace of the game, and unless both people have something easy to jump in and do while waiting for the other person's turn, it can be a somewhat frustrating experience. Maybe other people can deal with it better, but my hotseat partner was always ragging on me for playing too slow.
