Default Ringworlds

Has anyone got one of these built yet?

The Ringworld generator component is 2000 kt large.. so it won't fit on any ship, so how do you build one?

You have to build starbases on the location. So, you have to build space-yard ships, lots of them. Given how long it takes to build the starbases, you want to build them all simultaneously, and that means 11 space-yard ships for a ringworld and 21 space-yard ships for a sphereworld. Wait till you see the expenses of maintenance and building with 21 space-yards simultaneously.

Ok, I build a ringworld, but I'm having some problems with it - I can't land any settlers there! I've tried a rock colony ship and a transport full of population. The colony ship tells me there is no planet to colonize and the transport doesn't have anything to drop people onto.

How do you get people on a ring world once it's built?

BigBlue- That sounds like a bug that showed up a few Versions back. When you click on the sector containing the ringworld do you just get blank space ?
