FunnelEaredBat - MA newbie game: started
Since FruitBat, VampireBat and GhostBat filled up insanely fast, I'm creating a ridiculous fourth overflow game for new/newish players. I'd recommend players who've played 0-2 games previously - if you've played more than that and would like to play regardless, post here and you can play if we're short of players. This should be a nice, fun and friendly game, a reasonable size but not too huge, and generally ideal for new players (that's the plan, at least).
This will be an MA game and will use the Worthy Heroes mod. Renaming will be on, graphs will be on, and everything else will be standard.
The map will be my modified version of Parganos, which is modified (a) to have a much more fair and even spread of terrain types, (b) to have fair-ish start positions, and (c) to have no gold or magic sites in the seas - so this will be a land-nation only game.
Please sign up and choose a nation!
The players are:
Pangaea - kasnavada
Vanheim - MartialDoctor
Abysia - Profanicus
Ulm - Wookie1977
Marignon - LordCalvert
Arcoscephale - SiyfkA
C'tis - Peacekeeper
Bandar Log - elbnar

Re: FunnelEaredBat - MA game for new players
...why not just make a bigger game instead of 8 players?

Re: FunnelEaredBat - MA game for new players
I think 8 is a nice number for a newbie game. Larger games are fun too, but obviously they end up being much bigger affairs for those players which survive. When I started I played a series of 4-player games which I enjoyed hugely. I think 8 is a good number though, since it also allows for some diplomacy.

Well, I think I have time to enjoy a third game. Pangaea ?
However, if another person wants my place for his (her?) first games, I'll leave it.

Re: FunnelEaredBat - MA game for new players
Three games at once? Feel free, but I would probably advise against it unless you have a lot of free time. At first it's not a problem, but if you survive to late game in all three it could be a bit much. On the other hand if you are already in late game in the first one you probably have a good feel for it.

Alright, I'll take Vanheim for this one then.
Llamabeast, may I ask why you like to put the graphs on?

Well, I'm in early game for all 3, but I do have lots of free time.
