FQM Poll: Quadrant Organization
New poll! Please make detailed responses via Posts!
I have also been considering adding some text description stuff like in AIC to clarify some of the system type sections and all.
Minor clarification:
System density refers to the Sparse, Standard and Dense prefixes, which determine how many planets are in the "standard" systems.
Warp point density refers to how many warp points there are, the WPH, WPL, and no prefix stuff. Heavy means more WPS, light less WPs.

Re: FQM Poll: Quadrant Organization
How about "Huh? What ARE all those different quadrants anyway?"

Re: FQM Poll: Quadrant Organization
Why would I do that? That would be a totally useless response. Just go get FQM and load it up, and you can see for yourself what they are.

Re: FQM Poll: Quadrant Organization
OK, I am one of the "I'll explain" people (not that I'm a good choice for that but)...
When I consider a map to play on, the first decision I make is what kind of map I want (for example, "cluster" type differs a lot from "spiral" type in the regular game. Then I decide how big I want it (depending on players or some other factor). Then, I would move to how rich to make each system in planets. Final would be warp point density.
So, to try and explain it, I would prefer something like this:
Spiral
*Small
--Planets Sparse--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Standard--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Dense--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
*Medium
--Planets Sparse--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Standard--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Dense--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
*Large
--Planets Sparse--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Standard--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
--Planets Dense--
---Warp Light
---Warp Standard
---Warp Heavy
Cluster
(etc.)

Re: FQM Poll: Quadrant Organization
The small, medium, large part of that is not dependant on quadrant type, so would not be in the list. But, that does sound like a good suggestion. I shall look into it.
