Flying + Various Survivals
Pet Peeve:
Commander that has X survival (x=forest, mt, etc).
Unit has x survival.
Commander + unit can move 2, through x.
Same unit, with a Flying commander, no X survival. Stop at first territory x, even tho commander by himself can move 2.
Unit can move 2, leader can move 2. Unit + leader = dead stop.
Suggestion: Flying = All Survival for purpose of map move.

It would seem illogic to me that the commander stays on the skies while its units walk through a deep hostile forest on their own

Re: Flying + Various Survivals
No more illogical than some of the other movement combinations.
Consider Undead who are often move 3 due to tireless slow plodding. They'll march all night and day. Then give them a leader who has movement 3 due to flying. I guess he just flies to the destination and waits for them?

Re: Flying + Various Survivals
I reported this one a while back.
The flyer staying with them makes sense--they don't fly high up in the sky, they fly just over the army.

Maybe it could be treated like going into water.
"Not all of your troops can maintain that pace. Remove the ones that cant?"

They are all moving at the same speed ie., map move 2. They can all move to the square independently - they just can't move their together.
