Removing Cursed Items
How do I remove cursed items?
I've lost more than one good commander who acquired the Lychantropos Amulet whilst fighting Pangaea...

Re: Removing Cursed Items
the only way i've found is to wish for something that fills the cursed item's slot. If its in the second slot, then you're out of luck.additionally if you have the means, you might be able to cast transformation and drop a cursed item if the resulting shape doesn't have the slot for it. again most forms have misc slots, so the lycanthropos amulet is basically a death knell for that commander.
of course an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. even cheap or otherwise worthless items will ensure your favorite commanders don't pick up a cursed item. if you want to avoid a cursed weapon, but don't want to lose your commander's natural weaponry, Fire bola's are the key!

Re: Removing Cursed Items
Where's the problem with 'Lychantropos Amulet', unless it's a mage who picks it up?
I don't think there's a way to keep him from berserking, and berserking commanders will not use spells
If it is a melee commander and you only need him , simply give him some protective items as well and some tough bodyguards who move at least as fast as him (check AP) ... and set him up at the rearmost edge of the battlefield.

Re: Removing Cursed Items
Another way to remove a cursed item is death.
Works only for immortal commanders, and those able to cast that whats-its-name spell that revives the commander as a wight mage if he dies.

Re: Removing Cursed Items
The amulet tends to get it's owner killed and you know a mage will pick it up. The worst was when my Sphinx got it...
