Newbie with Demo seeks trial PBEM

Hi all,

I was wondering if some kind soul would be willing to do a head to head PBEM with me so I could see if SEIV is where I want to spend my money.

I am an experienced 4X PBEMer (Stars!) so I am really looking to get a feel for SEIV and to have some questions answered as the PBEM plays out.

I haven't had a chance to play PBW yet, so i'll join.

What time is it for you? I'm at 7:00 right now. If we have reasonable schedules, we can probably get in 3 or 4 turns each night.

As for PBW itself, we'll have to get them to install the demo as a mod option, which shouldn't be too hard.

Actually, installing the demo on PBW would be no problem, bu tthe demo has no support for command line processing of simultaneous game turns, so PBW can't be run the tunrs.

You could use PBW to collect ansd distribute the game files and player files though and then run the turns offline. Just set the game to "No automatic turns" and then it doesn't matter what Version you select since you won't be using the Version anyway.
